Since I watch shows like 'Homeland', 'The Blacklist', & other action paced political dramas, I was a lot tougher on reviewing this show. I think this season is still trying to find it's identity after the Origins series.next season may improve when it does. It is clear this show is about the high powered action instead of story. The original British 'Strike Back, Origins" with Richard Armitage was very watchable but the show had a storyline that gave you a reason to like John Porter, giving him a character arc that gives meaning to the actions he takes.but in this new season everything changes including the fact Richard Armitage dies in the first episode (due to landing the role in the Hobbit franchise), the agency is completely different with none of the familiar faces of the Origin story, and Section 20 puts a British Agent (who was born in the states) & an American Agent (who is actually an Austrailian actor) as a team that goes after terrorists on highly dangerous secretive missions with more action than story. 'Strike' Back' is an Action Adventure Political thrill ride similar to the pace of Michael Bay's 'Bad Boys' movies.
